"Lara promised me a warm house and this is exactly what we have since The Stove House fitted our wood burner. We highly recommend The Stove House as they have decades of experience with trained, expert advice as to the most appropriate appliance for our home. The installation process was incredibly professional and hassle free. We simply could not ask for better service.
If you are looking to heat your home give then give The Stove House a call, you won't regret it!" - Mrs Ambrose
Having The Stove House supply and install your new stove takes the stress and worry out of purchasing and installing separately, and gives you the peace of mind of a total comprehensive service. We can remove your existing fireplace and prepare the opening to accept your new stove, whether freestanding, cassette or inset. Some homes, in particular new build properties don’t have an existing fireplace. The Stove House offers a complete design and installation service of a new twin wall flue system which can be exposed as part of the design or built-in to create a fireplace and chimney breast type setting.
Looking through our Gallery will give you ideas of what can be achieved. All of the options will be discussed with you once we have carried out a site survey by one of our HETAS surveyors.

In our Midhurst showroom - situated between Chichester and Haslemere in West Sussex, we have a wide variety of stoves on display and have a portfolio of work that you can look through for ideas. Lara and Andrew come from a design background and are able to help guide you with not just practical advice but with aesthetics too.
In England and Wales installation work relating to domestic solid fuel and wood appliances and fireplaces are subject to Building Regulations. Most work is notifiable to the relevant Local Authority this is due to household insurance and future sale of properties. HETAS registered installers can self-certificate, which means you don't need to get building control to come in and sign the work off. The Stove House are HETAS registered, look out for rogue installers.
FACT: A HETAS INSTALLER CAN SELF-CERTIFICATE RATHER THAN APPLYING FOR BUILDING NOTICE WITH YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITY.
Many potential customers are unaware of stove manufacturers’ guarantees which state that…..
'..as long as the stove is purchased from a recognised and authorised dealer it will come with a standard warranty. For the warranty to be valid your appliance must be installed by an appropriately qualified engineer in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and Building Regulations and serviced within 12 months of installation and every year there after.'
A lot of internet companies are not authorised dealers which jeopardises your stoves warranty. For this reason, stove manufacturers recommend you buy from your local authorised dealer like The Stove House.
